5 Most Common Realtor Objections To A First Meeting
1 – I already work with a lender.
Of course you do!!! All great realtors have great lenders. I am simply looking to come by and introduce myself.
2 – I am too busy right now
I figured it would take a lot of luck to squeeze into your schedule this last minute. Why don’t we push it out two weeks? When are you typically in the office doing paperwork?
3 – What’s this about?
You are a big realtor in town, and I am a big lender in town. Eventually we will work on one side or the other of a deal together. I think it is good policy to get to know all of the players in the industry so that when we work together, we have a basic relationship to work off of. Do you have time to meet tomorrow?
4 – Can you call me back at a later time?
Of course I can. Why don’t I call you back a week from today. That being said, I know that you are very busy. Why don’t we tentatively tie up 15 minutes next Friday so that I can introduce myself? I just don’t want to overbook my calendar and miss the opportunity to meet you. I can confirm when I call you back next week.
5 – How did you get my name and number?
I have actually heard you name from agents in your office as well as a title company last week. I am embarrassed that I have not called you sooner so when I heard your name again at a closing, I promised myself I would call you right away. I love meeting other like minded people that have a great name in the business. Can I come by your office tomorrow at 2 or at 4?
